(Turtles)
The Original Collection of Mikinaakwag (Turtles) was finished and available on July 23, 2016. At the time I had no idea they would be so popular that "Turtles" is now something I'm known for. I listened to the People and worked to create eight more collections of Turtle Earrings.

The first set was so popular, I felt like a second set would do them justice. These ones were slightly different in shape and coloring, but overall still the same. I adore these pretties!

Mikinaakwag III, the final collection of turtles from BBB.
Similar in style to the original set, this divine dozen is sure to please anyone who loves color!

Mikinaakwag V: "The Nookomis Collection"

This collection means more to me than anything else that came before. They are inspired by a barrette that my gram made in 2012, hence the collection's name "Nookomis", which means "my grandmother" in Ojibwe. This collection is dedicated to
Joycelyn "Biidwewekwe" Shingobe.

Large, super shiny, two-tiered earrings. They are for baddies who like being glossy in their everyday lives.
Made with acrylic mirrors, ss8 banding, 16mm rivoli crystals, size 10 and 11 seed beads, size 9 satin-cut beads, wire guards and jump rings. They were finished with smoked leather backing and set with fingernail posts.
